The grand historic renovation of The Saint Anna has received another award. The Louisiana Landmarks Society’s 2016 Excellence in Historic Preservation Awards program honored the project, developed by Felicity Property Co.; designed by architect studioWTA.
AIA New Orleans Design Awards
The Joan Mitchell Center Artists’ Studio Building received two more awards. At a March awards dinner, architects Lee Ledbetter & Associates were bestowed with the Honor Award and Sustainable Design Honorable Mention for this outstanding project. Team Work Day at PlayBuild
A group of Palmisano Contractors’ staff came together for a full work day to install the deck boards and build out the restroom and kitchenette spaces at the PlayBuild site in Central City. We committed to building a new outdoor classroom space for their year-round programming which focuses on educating kids about architecture, design and construction.

Work begins on South Market District hotel
“Interior demolition is underway at a nine-story downtown office building that will be part of a hotel property being developed by the group behind the South Market District project. The joint venture of Broadmoor LLC and Palmisano Contractors has started work to clear office partitions and remove asbestos and lead paint inside the 136,000-square-foot building at 600 Carondelet St. Eskew+Dumez+Ripple designed the project.” Robin Shannon / City Business
